From goth-electronic pioneer to the dance floor
Desiree Washington co-founded Dual Eden in 1997, writing, singing, playing guitar and bass, and programming the beats that made the band one of the first in Los Angeles to fuse electronics with a live group. She produced and performed on both of the band’s Bankrupt Planet releases.
Unimatrix Zero is where that instinct lands now: a House and EDM project built for the club, rooted in the synths and drum machines she has been programming for nearly three decades. The first tracks are in production now.
